Process

The management team at Katahdin Valley Health Center had a vision to expand access to medications for their rural community, thus greatly improving their ability to serve patients during and after business hours.

Visante worked alongside the KVHC team to develop a plan to bring this vision for a local pharmacy to reality. After recognizing an opportunity for expanded services, we created a business strategy, financial performance, facility design, and detailed plan to staff, build-out, and set up the new store.

Results

The community’s response to the pharmacy and its services has been extremely positive. In fact, KVHC has expanded the original pharmacy concept to a second store at another one of their clinic locations.
